Our
Oneway Scrolling Chuck
is operated by two levers. This design creates a constant differential which allows one-handed thightening. Approximate weight is 4½ lbs. External chicking capacity is ¼˝ to 3˝. Internal chucking capacity is 2˝ to 3½˝. When ordering, please specify lathe, spindle diameter and thread pitch so that we can supply the correct taper-lock mounting adaptor. The Oneway Chuck has two adjusting levers and 1½˝ WoodWorm Screw. Adaptors are $24.75
4 Jaw Self–Centering Scroll Chucks - Both chucks scroll over a wide range to allow both expansion and compression chucking to fit a recess or tenon. The four jaws will hold both round and square stock. They were designed with safety in mind. The base jaws are case hardened carbon steel to make them stronger and longer lasting. The scroll is precision machined and the bore honed to exact tolerance after heat treating. This insures that no action adjustment is required for the life of the tool. Manganese phosphate plating acts as an anti-seizing compound. So less lubrication is required for smooth running action. The body is precision machined from a solid block of steel and electro–nickel plated to provide a hard wearing surface which is corrosion resistant. Oneway chucks have a revolutionary top jaw design to guarantee superior gripping at all diameters within the chuck's capacity. They will out perform any competitive system. A 1˝" woodworm screw is included at no extra cost. A taper lock mounting adaptor is supplied with every chuck It is secured with screws, and with this unique taper–lock design, the chuck is guaranteed to run true to the lathe spindle. Adaptors to fit almost any spindle size are available. If you ever purchase a new lathe, or want to use your chuck on a different lathe, it is as simple as purchasing a new adaptor. (Adaptors are $24.75)
