There are a number of ways to locate the center of a ball or a dowel rod. However, the trick is to accurately drill a perpendicular hole in the center of each. Our Rod & Ball Drill Guide has openings to accommodate dowel sizes of 1/2", 5/8", 3/4", 1", and 1-1/4". In addition, it can drill a perpendicular hole in balls and knobs, as well as the corners of squared stock. 1/4", 5/16" and 3/8" hardened threaded drill bushing are included. The 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 6" body is machined from solid aluminum stock and includes a spirit level. Directions are included.
